I like the recycling element of the project and the texture of the lipstick.I believe the lure of producing something beautiful gives women an incentive to let go of make-up they had hoarded. I normally work with oil or acrylic paints, so I was intrigued when Angela van Boxtel, the founder of creativemums.com suggested experimenting with make-up instead. You may find some old lipstick in your drawers. Let’s start creating your original artwork. Warringah Council, at Sydney’s Northern Beaches will be running a workshop, “Lipstick Girls” in April 2011.
